While the Centre d’Expertise Scientifique sur le Multirisques (CESM) showcases research projects from URN laboratories focusing on climate change and associated risks, numerous projects are being carried out within the establishment on other socio-ecological transition issues.

COP HERL (2020-2023)

The COP HERL (COnséquences Potentielles pour l’Homme et l’Environnement, perception et RésiLience) project took a multidisciplinary approach to characterizing not only the physico-chemical, environmental and health risks, but also the societal perception of the Lubrizol-Normandie Logistique accident on September 26, 2019. The project brought together some fifteen laboratories and a hundred staff (chemists, specialists in health, combustion, natural environments, human and social sciences and biologists).
