The missions of the T.URN Institute
In 2022, the University took a further step forward by creating the Institut des Transitions (T.URN Institute), demonstrating its firm commitment to anchoring the challenges of sustainable development in all its missions and activities. As a catalyst for socio-ecological transitions within the establishment, the institute’s missions are to :
- Implement URN’s Sustainable Development and Social Responsibility (SD&SR) strategy: help steer this strategy and assist in decision-making
- Gathering, guiding and supporting internal and external stakeholders around SD&RS issues, while promoting initiatives and structuring collective efforts
- Promote a shared vision of the challenges of socio-ecological transitions: work to integrate these challenges into all URN missions, including teaching, research, campus management and the quality of university life.
- Carry out annual action plans: develop and implement annual action plans aligned with URN’s strategic ambitions, ensuring rigorous monitoring and ongoing evaluation of progress.
