Re_source: an educational resource center dedicated to TSE

Initiated with the support of Métropole Rouen Normandie, Re_source is accessible to all audiences, academic and non-academic alike. It centralizes reports, articles, audiovisual content and a directory of structures in Normandy working for the socio-ecological transition. Re_source also facilitates networking between teachers, students and external partners.

Re_source also hosts the video content for the Mooc des Possibles and will host the content for teacher training.

Development of serious games

In partnership with SAPHIRE, Institut T.URN is developing serious games designed to take a playful approach to transition issues. These games can be used by teachers as part of their teaching activities.

Diplo-climate

Diplo-Climat is a serious multiplayer game with a virtual interface, allowing participants to simulate a UN Conference of the Parties (COP).

By immersing themselves in the complex realities of a COP, players tackle the notion of negotiation and seek consensus…or hindrance, taking into account their interests as well as those of the environment.

Climatokoi?

Climatokoi? is a serious game designed to get participants to work on their arguments in response to climatoskeptic attacks. Based on proposed arguments, players must find the best rhetorical strategies to respond effectively to climatoskeptic tirades.

Deployment of collective intelligence workshops

The deployment of these workshops (such as the Climate and Biodiversity Frescoes, the 2 Tons Workshop, etc.) is supported by the T.URN Institute. The Institute can organize a workshop as part of a teaching program, and can also offer students training in running them.

Thanks to an ARE budget, every year around ten students acquire the skills needed to run a workshop, and run them as part of their university studies.

If you would like to deploy one in your teaching, please contact us at ateliers.turn@univ-rouen.fr

Skills repository

As part of the TRANSITION project, the University has undertaken to produce a repository of sustainability skills, based on its own constraints. The creation of this repository meets a need: to clarify the definition of TEDS teaching.

To this end, a working group was set up within the TURN referent networks in June 2025. Its mission is to define these key skills, propose learning objectives and identify the most appropriate teaching methods for developing these skills in students.
